About Us

Weyspring Park Nursing Home, is a privately owned Nursing Home and is registered with CQC to provide Nursing care for up to 24 people who have dementia or functional (e.g depression, bi-polar) mental illness. Weyspring Park is CQC (Care Quality Commission) compliant.

It is set in rural grounds and located on the side of Black Down on the Surrey/Sussex boarder.

Most of the rooms in Weyspring Park are single with their own Washbasins. We also have 4 en-suite bedrooms. All our bedrooms have a Nurse call System. The accommodation caters for relatively independent residents and full facilities for more physically dependent individuals.
We take great pride in the fact that we maintain the ethos of Weyspring Park as a person’s home. We provide nutritious home cooked meals and use locally sourced produce.
We believe our efforts to value, respect and empower people who have become disempowered and vulnerable. We welcome and encourage Relative’s involvement in the daily life of our residents.

Prior to admission to Weyspring Park, an assessment is carried out to establish if the needs of the person can be met at the Home. When the person moves to the home, the assessment will be reviewed and individual care plans drawn up as well as risk assessments. These are reviewed on a monthly basis.

We also accept Emergency admission where there may be no time to carry out pre-admission assessments. We care for individuals who have posed challenges in other settings, other care homes, the community or the acute sector.
Staff include a high ratio of qualified nurses, both registered mental health- and general nurses as well as a resident Consultant Psychiatrist.
